CAR RENTAL USER REQUIREMENTS
Malaysian & Permanent Resident:
- MyKad or iKad (ID)
- Valid Malaysian driver’s license
- Business/work card or latest utility bill (for address verification)
- Student ID (for students)
International/Traveler:
- Passport
- Domestic or International driver’s license (from home country)
These are the common requirements.
Accident Claims (Steps):
Get Information: After an accident, make sure to collect the number plates and take photos of all vehicles involved.
Report It: Inform us about the accident and send photos of all vehicles involved through WhatsApp. Also, go to the nearest police station to report the accident right away.
Pay Excess: You’ll need to pay the excess liability amount as mentioned in your car rental agreement immediately.
Provide Documents: Send us clear pictures of the police report and the receipt for the excess liability payment through WhatsApp.
Insurance Won't Cover the Following:
Late Police Report: If you don’t report the accident to the police within 24 hours, it won’t be covered.
Breaking Rental Terms: If you violate the rental agreement’s terms and conditions, any damages won’t be covered.
Missing Items: Damages related to items or accessories that are missing from the vehicle are not covered.
Drunk or Drugged Driving: Accidents caused by drunk or drug-intoxicated drivers are excluded.
Tire Damage: Damage to the tires not resulting from regular wear and tear is not covered.
Undercarriage Damage: Damage to the vehicle’s undercarriage or underbody not caused by a collision with another vehicle is not covered.
Natural Disasters: Damage due to events like floods, fires, landslides, or riots is not included.
Geographical Limitations: If you take the vehicle outside the specified geographical area, it won’t be covered.
Intentional Damage or Negligence: If you intentionally cause damage or act negligently, insurance won’t cover it.
Total Loss or Theft Options: If your vehicle is stolen or totaled, you can either choose a replacement at the same rate or end the rental agreement.
Understanding and following these steps and conditions is essential to ensure you get the coverage you need and avoid situations where your claim might be denied.
